Seed Stock
The Mangalica Project is the swine seed stock project of Abraxas Farm. Acquired between 2019 and 2023 from Tim Winkler of Winkler Wooly Pigs, we now work with a large foundational herd. In 2024, we will begin to sell genetics to support the Mangalitsa breed.
Our vision with The Mangalica Project is to ensure the health and vitality of an Original Import based US Mangalitsa herd. With the representation of every bloodline of Original Import Red and Swallowbelly Mangalitsa currently available in the US, we offer custom breeding of the livestock you’re seeking. We will continue to develop this diverse herd for our breeding and specialty meat operations and for other professional meat operations and breeders worldwide.
